While the first part of the day I got lost in the sea of sponsors and swag, the second half of the day I set to meeting people.  Sure, I saw a fair share of spectacles and met a few doe-eyed gals in their first visit to a big city but what struck me most was the passion and integrity I felt from a lot of these women.

One women in particular, Dori, caught my attention.  What impressed me about her was how she felt compelled to share her passion with others in hopes that she could inspire others to grow their own passion.  Dori was a lawyer by day and a self-proclaimed tone deaf music enthusiast by night.  She had a music blog where she wrote not as a music critic but as an enthusiast.  She felt there were enough critiques out there, she simply wanted others to share the enjoyment she got from music.  That just struck me as simple and genuine and thereby, inspiring.  It was simply sharing love in the best way she knew how.

I thank Dori and many other women for sharing their passion with me today.
