This is the fourth entry in a four part series covering Pepsi Beverages Company Gives Back Days, featuring stories from associates who rolled up their sleeves and demonstrated the power of Pepsi. Audubon Center in Greenwich, Connecticut Improvements to the Audubon Center of Greenwich – a 295-acre wildlife refuge committed to bringing visitors of all ages closer to nature – normally are performed by a skeleton crew of two or three.  On Wednesday, June 15, 2011, a group of 30 PepsiCo volunteers rolled up their sleeves, adorned heavy work gloves and clothing, disregarded the threat of deer ticks and mountain-lion sightings, and took to the trails to “Give Back” to the community. On June 15 and 16, more than 500 PepsiCo associates participated in the 2011 Pepsi Beverages Company Gives Back Days. Employees volunteered throughout Westchester and Putnam counties in New York and Fairfield County in Connecticut, dedicating their time, energy and skills to 21 different projects. Read more

On June 16, more than 20 Pepsi Beverage Company employees gathered at the Hillside Center Outreach warehouse in Pleasantville, New York where we pitched in to help out in every way possible.

On June 15 and 16, more than 500 PepsiCo associates participated in the 2011 Pepsi Beverages Company Gives Back Days. Employees volunteered throughout Westchester and Putnam counties in New York and Fairfield County in Connecticut, dedicating their time, energy and skills to 21 different projects. Que buena manera de empezar este blog! Hoy hemos estado con dos personalidades mundiales: por un lado, nuestra CEO y Presidente Indra Nooyi y, por el otro, el mejor Chef del mundo, Ferran Adrià. Indra Nooyi Samples New Flavors with Ferran Adrià at the Greatest Restaurant in the World

What a great way to start this blog!  Today we have had the pleasure of being around two impressive figures: first, our CEO and Chairman Indra Nooyi and, on the other, the world’s best chef, Ferran Adrià. Both have been in a joint workshop on the premises of El Bulli – the 5-time recipient of the Best Restaurant in the World by Restaurant Magazine. Although El Bulli is closing for a short while, Adrià will soon be transforming the restaurant into a Foundation . Adrià has been linked to PepsiCo for a while through earlier successful partnerships in which PepsiCo received advice on the creation of such products as Lay’s Craft 100% olive oil or cream Alvalle. Now the agreement is an even more enriching international cooperation, including all PepsiCo brands worldwide. @PepsiCo Engages Internet Week With the Social Vending System

PepsiCo Social Vending System makes an appearance at Internet Week New York

Last week, PepsiCo took the floor at New York’s annual Internet Week…literally. PepsiCo associates from Foodservice, Marketing and PR showcased the Social Vending System, giving attendees demonstrations live from the event. The Social Vending System was debuted at the National Automatic Merchandising Association’s annual One Show in April to much fanfare. More than 100 stories appeared in the press, ranging from the Time magazine Techland blog, the Huffington Post and Gizmodo to CNN.com amongst several others. Read more
