The 2011 PepsiCo10 Europe finalists were announced this week in London, UK. The 10 winners represent the most impressive and innovative start-up technologies in social commerce and mobile technologies in the Europe.
Chosen from more than 130 submissions, the 10 winners will now have the opportunity to execute pilot programs with some of PepsiCo’s leading brands in the U.K., including Walkers and Pepsi, to activate pilot marketing programs, while receiving the support and mentorship of Highland Capital Partners, OMD, Mashable and Wired.
Ian Ellington, General Manager for Walkers Crisps, one of the brands which will partner with a PepsiCo10 finalist said, “I’m really pleased and excited about our final 10 – in particular the variety of different technologies our brands will get to pilot. PepsiCo10 gives us a real advantage in spotting and nurturing the real tech and digital stars of the future.”
Below is a first look at the 10 companies. We will be sharing more details and insights from each company in the coming months. In the meantime, join us in congratulating our PepsiCo10 Europe on their hard work and wishing them luck on their success yet to come!
