We have now been at the Vilcambaba Hotel a bit over 24 hours.  It is a beautiful hotel with several open air sitting areas and rich vegetation.  At this time we are the only guests.  The Hotel staff  has been so incredibly accommodating.  They have fixed problems with electricity, air conditioning and water, so we are all now comfortable. We have taken all of our meals here so far and the food is excellent. Local food includes chicken, rice, plantains, fish and beef.
