Deepali Palta

Deepali born in New Delhi and grew up in different parts of India, as her dad was a doctor in the Indian Army and the family moved around with his transfers to different Army hospitals. In the beginning, Deeplali wasn’t a big fan of leaving her friends behind every 2 years or so, but she has grown to realize that it did teach her sister and her to quickly adapt to new surroundings. After high school, Deepali finished her BS and MS in Engg. in India and came to Georgia Tech for a PhD in Polymer & Material Science. She met her wonderful husband, Anshul at Georgia Tech who was also there to get his PhD, got married while they were finishing up school. He graduated earlier than she did and started working for Frito-lay. Deepali had heard such wonderful things about the company and the people from him that when she graduated a year later, she had to apply to Frito-Lay and made it. Deepali has enjoyed being here ever since and plans to stay here for long!!
