On Saturday, Oct. 2, The Mckees Rocks PBC team got together for a day of fun, work and giving back. As a team, we met at The Trinity A.M.E. Zion Church on what turned out to be a picture perfect day in Pittsburgh, 75 degrees and sunny. This had to have been a sign because that kind of weather doesn’t happen every day in Pittsburgh  We partnered up with Rebuilding Together and the West Pittsburgh Police Department to fix up a facility for a Police-sponsored youth athletics program designed to benefit up to 150 children. The project also benefited other areas of the church. We started out by landscaping the front entrance by pulling weeds and cleaning up the area, and then we planted new shrubbery and mulch.
