Giving Students a Lesson on Nutrition and Heritage in the Garden

This September marks one year since the PepsiCo Foundation– PepsiCo’s philanthropic arm – launched the pioneering Edible Teaching Garden and Culinary Arts Program in partnership with LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes. Located in the heart of Los Angeles, the grassroots project aims to teach Mexican and Mexican-American children about the nutritional value of fruits and vegetables, while discovering Mexican-American history and culture, which firmly supports PepsiCo’s commitment to helping people lead healthier lives.
